Microbiome associated with soil nematodes collected from South Africa

We have isolated nematodes from the water berry tree to investigate the bacterial communities within their bodies. We used the Illumina technique to study the microbiome and diversity of bacteria within the nematodes and found various bacteria. Some of these bacteria were endosymbionts, while others were associated with the internal parts of the nematode's body.
