Basilian Art Network in Poland-Lithuania in the 18th century

The dataset concerning Basilian Art Network in Poland-Lithuania in the 18th century consists of 4 files: Actions are emporal event concerning an artefact, monastery, place and person representing Basilians' artistic activity. This layer cointains all information about actions collected during the project along with their ID, name of action, monastery where the action took place (along with its ID), date start and end (that can mean terminus ante quem), cost, other monastery involved (along with its role), place involced (along with its role), artefact involved (along with its ID), person involved (along wih their ID and role). The URL for external pictures is available. Including IDs in the table makes it possible to relate it to other tables available in the dataset. Records representing actions are multiplicated due to one-to-many relation in the source database as single action usually involves multiple actors, artefacts, and places. Attributes are available in Polish and English. Artefacts (artworks) located in Basilian monasteries. This layer cointains all information about artefacts along with their: ID, type (specific and general), material, formal solution (specific features of artefacts, eg. altars or churches), location (monastery), as well as being a part of another artefact (e.g. altar in a church). Records representing artefacts are multiplicated due to one-to-many relation in the source database in case there is more than one attribute related to single artefact, e.g. two kinds of material used. Attributes (with the exception of artefact's name) are available in Polish and English. Monasteries in Poland-Lithuania functioning in the 18th century. This layer cointains all information about monasteries collected in the project: ID, name (basic, variant, modern), political and administrative affiliation, ecclesiastical affiliation, location (WGS-84 coordinates), dates of their existence as well as arrangement types (how each monastery was arranged internally and against its vicinities). Records representing monasteries are multiplicated due to one-to-many relation in the source database in case there is more than one attribute related to single momastery, e.g. two arrangament types, three kinds of material used, etc. Attributes (with the exception of monastery's name) are available in Polish and English. People related to the artistic network of Basilian order. This layer cointains all information about people along with their ID, name/surname and type (specific and general). Records representing people characterised by multiple types are multiplicated due to one-to-many relation in the source database. Attributes are available in Polish and English.
