In order to analyze the effects of soil microorganisms on hybrid heterosis, we analyzed the diversity of soil microorganisms in the rhizosphere soil of hybrid and parent. The specific method was to plant two pairs of hybrid combination corn in the same plot, planting two rows of each corn, and then after seven weeks of planting, we uprooted the plants to collect the rhizosphere soil. We use shovels to collect the entire root system of the maize (to ensure that primary roots, seed roots, and crown roots are represented in each sample) and shake them until little or no bulk soil falls from the roots. Then collect the rhizosphere soil that is closely bound to the root system, and then sift the collected rhizosphere soil to remove the root tissue inside. The microbiome characteristics of hybrid maize and self-crossbred maize were compared. We selected rhizosphere soil of different plants planted in different locations for the same kind of corn, and took 4 replicates for each sample.
