E14.5 embryonic mouse pancreas was sectioned at 6 µm from three embryos: embryo (emb) 2, 4 and 11
from the same litter. Two sections (300 µm apart) from each embryo were immunostained for the
proteins Carboxypeptidase 1 (CPA1), p120-catenin (p120ctn) and SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 9
(Sox9). DNA was stained with DAPI. Images were acquired as single z-plane tile scans by confocal
microscopy using a Zeiss LSM780 system and stitched with Zen software. Channel1: CPA1, Channel2:
p120ctn, Channel3: Sox9, Channel4: DAPI
