A Phase III, randomised trial of adding nitroglycerin to first line chemotherapy for advanced non-small cell lung cancer

Data for 372 adult patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Treatment regime was standard chemotherapy with (n=185) or without (n=187) application of a nitroglycerin 25 mg patch.

Study assessments were carried out at baseline before randomization, then every 3 weeks during chemotherapy, and every 4 weeks from completion of chemotherapy until disease progression.
