The use of DNA barcode to study the diversity of butterflies in different regions in the world. The DNA barcode has showed to be a useful tool to study the biodiversity, mainly in groups highly diversified. This comparison analyze, the effectiveness of the DNA barcode to identify specimens correctly and its usefulness to discover potentially undescribed new taxa of butterflies in different geographical regions.
