Differential response of lamellipodial actin network to latrunculin a (LA), a binder of monomeric actin. This electron micrograph of a Xenopus keratocyte)lamellipodium treated with LA (0.1 μM for 30 min) reveals actin depletion from the lamellipodial rear. A similar image of an LA treated fibroblast is available as CIL 24805. Image corresponds to Figure 7d from J Cell Biol. 1999 May 31;145(5):1009-26.
