Foreign Lobbying Dataset (FOLD) provides systematic information on foreign lobbying activities in the United States between 1971 and 2021. I used the Reports to Congress by the Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) to organize the FOLD. The FOLD records the number of lobbying activities, classified by lobbying topics and principals, at the country-year level.
