The FDOT Scenic Highways feature class provides spatial information on Florida scenic highways. Denotes the designation of the Florida Scenic Highway Program, which was developed in 1996 in accordance with Section 335.093, F.S. The program promotes the preservation, maintenance, protection and enhancement of the cultural, historical, archeological, recreational, natural and intrinsic scenic resources of Florida highways. The program also provides travelers a unique historical view of Florida. This data is required for all roadways designated as a scenic highway by the Production Management Office. This dataset is maintained by the Transportation Data & Analytics office (TDA). The source spatial data for this hosted feature layer was created on: 07/25/2026.
