ATAC-seq analysis of wild type C. albicans and a HIR1 gene deletion mutant during nutrient rich growth (YPD) and upon the shift to nitrogen starvation in yeast carbon base medium supplemented with BSA (YCB-BSA medium). ATAC-seq was performed of wild type and HIR1-deficient Candida albicans grown overnight in YPD medium (nitrogen rich conditions) and after 4 hours and 8 hours of growth in YCB-BSA medium where BSA is the major nitrogen source. Cells were harvested after each time point or prior transfer to YCB-BSA medium, subjected to spheroplasting, tagmentation and ATAC-seq library preparation. Three biological replicates for each condition were performed.
