Travel behaviour in 2011. Holiday plans for 2012.<br>Topics: number of travels in 2011 for business purposes or private purposes for a minimum of one night; number of personal holidays for less than four nights in selected types of accommodation (e.g. hotel, at friends or relatives); number of personal holidays for a minimum of four consecutive nights in selected types of accommodation (e.g. hotel, at friends or relatives); main reason for not going on holiday in 2011; country of the main holiday; main reasons for going on holiday; frequency of using the following means of transport to travel to holiday destination in 2011: airplane, boat, train, bus, car or motorbike; frequency of all-inclusive-holiday, other types of package travel, and of tourism services purchased separately; used methods to arrange the holiday in 2011; reasons for another holiday at the same place; satisfaction with the quality of the accommodation, the natural features, the general level of prices, the activities offered, how tourists are welcomed; most important information sources for a decision about own travel plans; holiday plans: types of holidays planned in 2012 (holidays with more than 13 consecutive nights away, between 4 and 13 nights, or short-stay trip); country of the main holiday in 2012; impact of the current economic situation on the personal holiday plans for 2012. Demography: age; sex; nationality; age at end of education; occupation; professional position; region; type of community; own a mobile phone and fixed (landline) phone; household composition and household size. Additionally coded was: respondent ID; country; type of phone line; language of the interview; date of interview; time of the beginning of the interview; duration of the interview; weighting factor.
