This is volume 1 of our annual report on reviewable deaths in 2012 and 2013. It documents our review of the deaths of 41 children in 2012 and 2013, and a separate review of 83 children who were killed in circumstances of familial abuse over the 10 year period to 2013. The Ombudsman is required to review these deaths under Part 6 of the Community Services (Complaints Reviews and Monitoring) Act 1993.\n\n**Note:** This resource was originally published on opengov.nsw.gov.au.
