# Dataset Description for Farzmahdi et al., 2025 *Relating natural image statistics to patterns of response covariability in macaque primary visual cortex* ## Overview This dataset contains neural recordings from two sessions analyzed in Farzmahdi et al., 2025. Each `.mat` file corresponds to a single recording session and includes data used in analyses and figures of the paper. - `Session_136.mat` corresponds to **a3, session 1 (a3_s1)**- `Session_150.mat` corresponds to **a4, session 1 (a4_s1)** ## File Contents Each `.mat` file includes the following components: - Stimulus condition metadata- Receptive field (RF) positions- Neural response measures Detailed variable names and structures are consistent with the analysis scripts used to generate the main figures. ## Notes - Neuron selection criteria, stimulus configurations, and preprocessing steps are described in the **Methods** section of the manuscript.
