This repository contains the stimulus material used and behavioral data of 200 participants collected during a study investigating the effects of receiving formal (usted) or informal (tú) Spanish pronouns of address in a job interview. The results showed that pronouns did not directly impact participants' attitudes towards the recruiter and the company, their motivation and sense of belonging, nor their estimate of the salary. Nonetheless, participants' age and gender significantly modulated pronoun perception. Older people were more positive about the company, their motivation and sense of belonging when they received informal (vs. formal) pronouns. Women's sense of belonging was negatively affected by receiving formal (vs. informal) pronouns.
