Genes regulated by methyl jasmonate in Petunia hybrida

Jasmonate is a plant hormone playing a major role in defense. A large number of genes are regulated positively and negatively by the defense signal in plants. To understand the jasmonate signaling, RNA-Seq analysis was performed to screen a series of genes regulated by jasnomate in Petunia hybrida. Four-week-old plants were exposed to methyl jasmonate gas in a air-tight container for 24 h. RNA was isolated from the leaves.
