To look for age-related changes in the liver, we used RNAseq gene expression analysis to characterize mRNA expression profile in livers from 1-month vs. 6-month-old mice Liver mRNA profile of 1-month and 6-month old C57BL/6 male mice were generated by deep sequencing in triplicate (each sample is a pool of three mice) using Illumina NextSeq. The sequence reads passed quality filters. qRT–PCR validation was performed using TaqMan and SYBR Green assays
