Hyperglycemia-induced hyperexpression of CREB3L3 causes EMT and impairs cell tight junction of bladder urothelial cells in diabete mellitus

High glucose levels induce high expression of CREB3L3, thereby promoting EMT and impairing tight junction in bladder urothelial cells. Targeting CREB3L3 in bladder urothelial cells is likely to be a key approach to prevent and treat DCP.
