Dataset for Microalgae on anuran skin: evidence of potential epizoochorous dispersal in coastal wetlands

This dataset contains observational records from the study “Microalgae on anuran skin: evidence of potential epizoochorous dispersal in coastal wetlands”, including 41 anuran individuals that were found to carry freshwater microalgae on their skin. These individuals represent six species (from the families Bufonidae, Odontophrynidae, Hylidae, and Leptodactylidae) sampled in grassland and/or dune wetlands of the southern Brazilian Coastal Plain. Data were collected with appropriate permits and include samples from both public and private properties.
