Whole genome sequencing of a novel carbon-fixing bacterium strain FR-4 isolated from the Yellow Sea

In this study, a novel carbon-fixing bacterium, strain FR-4, was isolated from the euphotic zone of the Yellow Sea using a RACS-Seq/Culture system. The project aims to provide the complete genome sequence of strain FR-4 to explore its metabolic potential and genetic basis for autotrophic carbon fixation. The genomic data will provide insights into the ecological roles and environmental adaptation mechanisms of carbon-fixing microbes in marine ecosystems.
