Pathway project Impact Framework (Prototype 2)

The framework measures holistic sustainability impact across four pillars (Environmental/Ecological, Economic, Social/Cultural, and Governance/Empowerment/Equity) at three nested scales: fishery, project, and MSC programme. The dataset reflects framework revisions informed by analysis of 18 survey responses received from all 16 Pathway Projects in March 2026.Second prototype of the Impact framework developed for the assessment of impact in MSC Pathway Projects• <b>Framework Overview: </b>Describes the purpose, three-scale architecture, instrument cross-reference key, 0–4 scoring approach (with guidance for converting MSC Performance Indicator scores to impact scores), four aggregation protocols (Proportional Counting, Weighted Averaging, Threshold Scoring, Narrative Synthesis), and a summary of ten revision notes implemented from the 2026 survey analysis.• <b>Fishery Scale KPIs: </b>30 fishery-level KPIs across all four pillars (KPI IDs prefixed F-). Columns: KPI ID, Indicator Name, Definition, Data Source, Compiled By, Draws on MSC Instruments, Instrument Cross-Reference, Reporting Frequency, Target/Benchmark, Questionnaire Reference, and Questionnaire Question Description.• <b>KPI–Questionnaire Map: </b>A cross-reference table mapping all 70 KPIs (across all three scales) to the corresponding Pathway Impact Questionnaire items, with columns for KPI ID, Scale, Pillar, KPI Name, Questionnaire question number, Question Description, and Data Source Route.• <b>Change Log: </b>Documents 13 discrete framework changes made in the March 2026 revision, with columns for Change number, Sheet, KPI ID, Change Type, Description, Evidence/Rationale (from the 2026 survey), and Survey Data Points supporting each change.• <b>References: </b>35 literature references underpinning the framework, with columns for Reference number, full Reference citation, Type (peer-reviewed, grey literature, framework document), DOI, URL, and KPIs citing each reference.
