资源简介:
These data correspond to the chemical and mineralogical analyses conducted on a sample of 58 individuals of wheel-thrown pottery that has been analysed by X-ray fluorescence (XRF), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). These analyses were conducted in the frame of an archaeometric project to characterise the provenance and technology of these ceramics recovered at the settlement of Sant Jaume (Alcanar, Catalonia). Sant Jaume is one of the most important reception sites of the Phoenician pottery imports in the NE Iberian Peninsula during the Early Iron Age (800-550 BC) and reflects the trade from the western Phoenician colonies of Southern Andalusia and Ibiza, though the origin of most ceramics remains to be determined.
