Alaska Passerella hybridization

These sequence files were produced from specimen-vouchered tissue samples of Fox Sparrow specimens (Passerella iliaca) collected in south-central Alaska during the nesting season. The specimens are housed at the University of Alaska Museum. This dataset represents the first modern samples from a contact zone between the coastal unalaschcensis subspecies group and the interior iliaca subspecies group. Sampling includes parentals of each outside of the contact zone.
