New genomic annotation of the microsporidian parasite Anncaliia algerae

These datasets correspond to the genomic data generated in the study of the genome of Anncaliia algerae strain Undeen. The file ccs-anncaliia.fq.gz contains the raw data from PacBio Sequel II HiFi sequencing.The file A_algerae_genome_sequences_tetraploid.fr contains the scaffolds of the four haplotypes of the Anncaliia algerae genome assembled by Hicanu.The file A_algerae_genome_sequences_haploid.fr contains the scaffolds of the haploid genome haplotype of Anncaliia algerae assembled by Hicanu and determined by Purgehaplotig.The archive A_algerae_haploid_gff_files.tar.xz contains the annotation files for the 17 chromosomes of the haploid genome haplotype of Anncaliia algerae assembled by Hicanu and determined by Purge Haplotigs, in GFF3 format. The annotation was performed using the MicroAnnot tool (Tournayre et al; Int. J. Mol. Sci. 2024, 25(2), 880; https://doi.org/10.3390/ijms25020880), validated by the analysis of RNA-Seq data generated by Akossi et al (Noncoding RNA Res. 2023 May 18;8(3):363-375.doi: 10.1016/j.ncrna.2023.05.003) and manually corrected.
