This dataset is constructed at the township (jiedao) level for three major Chinese cities—Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu—in 2020. It includes variables such as environmental risk index, sociodemographic characteristics (e.g., migrant population ratio, highly educated population ratio), housing prices, public service facilities (parks, subways, bus stops), enterprise distribution (factories, trading companies, IT firms), and population density. Data are sourced from the National Pollution Discharge Permit Platform, the Seventh National Population Census, LandScan population data, Anjuke housing price data, and Amap POI data. The dataset supports research on spatial differentiation of environmental risks, environmental inequality, and the impact of urban spatial restructuring on environmental justice.
