snRNAseq molecular characterization of pig dorsal root ganglion neurons [snRNAseq]

This dataset offers snRNAseq data from dorsal root ganglia (DRG) of pigs, targeting molecular markers of sleeping nociceptors. It combines high-throughput sequencing with detailed tissue processing, advancing our knowledge of nociceptor diversity and providing insights for sensory and pain research. Overall design: Samples obtained from male Landrace pigs, DRGs were preserved post-euthanasia, processed for nuclei isolation through methods like tissue lysis and density gradient centrifugation, and enriched for neuronal nuclei analysis.The aim is to characterize sensory neuron transcriptomic profiles in DRGs, enhancing understanding of nociceptor diversity for pain study applications. This dataset aids comparative sensory neuron research, offering a detailed molecular resource for integration with other transcriptomic datasets.
