NRS-4567 | Writs issued

These are writs issued by the Governor's Court in execution of its judgments. The writs, which were issued by the Judge Advocate and bear his signature, direct the Provost Marshal to act upon them. The writs are of two kinds: of fieri facias (Fi Fa) and of capias ad satisfaciendum (Ca Sa). Some writs bear the heading of the Supreme Court rather than the Governor's Court. These correspond with the writs entered in the Governor's Court Execution Book as being issued by the Supreme Court in execution of judgments handed down in the Governor's Court before the Supreme Court took over its functions in 1824.
