资源简介:
The direct conversion of carbon dioxide (CO₂) and methane (CH₄) into oxygenated platform chemicals under mild conditions remains a key challenge in sustainable catalysis. In this study, we investigate iron-containing, Al-rich zeolites—Fe-*BEA and Fe-CHA—as catalysts for the co-conversion of CO₂ and CH₄ to methanol and acetic acid. The results confirm that both zeolites contain well-dispersed Fe species, yet with distinct differences in oxidation state and coordination environment, depending on the zeolite topology. *BEA primarily stabilizes Fe(II) species, while CHA favors the formation of Fe(III) oxide-like species. These differences significantly influence catalytic behavior: although both Fe-CHA and Fe-*BEA catalyze the conversion of CO₂ and CH₄ to methanol and/or acetic acid under mild conditions, product formation is initiated at a lower temperature for Fe-CHA.
