资源简介:

The integration of AI agents into operations of MSME’s customer service could well boost competition but it must come with human centric strategies while balancing the adoption of technology. MSMEs are driven by the needs of 24/7 support, cost efficiency and scalability so they use the AI to automate Routine tasks and use human resource for more complex, empathy driven conversations. However, while adoption of such system may not be unachievable yet, the implementation proves tricky as there are obstacles of technical customization (e.g. on adapting the AI to the regional dialect), the workforce resistance (e.g. by losing their jobs) and the cost of continually maintaining the system. AI is already a huge asset to operations, reducing response times and allowing for market expansion as it supports multilingual capabilities, but it lacks the human driven strategies that generate revenue such as ability to up sell based on each individual as well as spontaneous negotiation. The results show a paradox: As AI enhances service agility and accessibility through its AI, overall service capability and coverage is determined by how well the traditional business adapts to it from a strategy and business model point of view. To nurture healthy growth of MSMEs, it will be essential to have a symbiotic relationship between the automation and process expertise with MSME’s, focusing on intuitive AI design, continuously upskilling their manpower, as well as MSME friendly policies to allow technology to be scalable and to support the unique value propositions of smaller enterprises. This balance allows the AI to function as an enabler rather than a disruptor, and facilitates the MSMEs to survive in the innovative digital marketplaces.
