Changes in epigenetic profiles throughout early childhood and their relationship to the response to pneumococcal vaccination

Infinium Methylation 450 K was used to profile the epigenetic differences in 24 children between two timepoints: 12 months (baseline group) and 24 months and to elucidate the methylation differences between 12 high and 12 low PCV-13 booster vaccine responders, in order to identify pathways that show significant changes over time and those that are associated with a more robust immune response.
