Dataset for "Weight-Bearing Ankle Dorsiflexion in Older Adults With and Without a History of Falls: Associations With Balance, Functional Mobility, and Fear of Falling"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the study entitled “Weight-Bearing Ankle Dorsiflexion in Older Adults With and Without a History of Falls: Associations With Balance, Functional Mobility, and Fear of Falling”. The dataset contains data from 90 community-dwelling older adults, including 45 participants with and 45 participants without a self-reported history of falls during the previous 12 months. Variables include demographic and clinical characteristics, weight-bearing ankle dorsiflexion measured using the weight-bearing lunge test (WBLT), FICSIT-4 static balance scores, Timed Up and Go (TUG) performance, Greek Falls Efficacy Scale-International (FES-I) scores, fall history, medication count, comorbidities, physical activity level, walking-aid use, lower-limb pain, and previous lower-limb injury or surgery. Derived WBLT variables include bilateral mean distance, minimum-limb value, and side-to-side asymmetry. The dataset contains no directly identifying participant information. A detailed data dictionary and variable coding information are provided in the accompanying README file.
