This dataset presents meteorological observations from the Ali Desert Environment Comprehensive Observation and Research Station (affiliated to the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences) for the period from November 2009 to December 2016.
The included core meteorological variables are as follows: daily mean air temperature at 1.5 meters above ground, daily mean relative humidity at 1.5 meters above ground, daily mean wind speed, daily mean wind direction, daily mean atmospheric pressure, and 24-hour cumulative precipitation measured at 24:00 each day.
Target User Group: Students and researchers conducting meteorological, climatic and environmental studies of the Ali region on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
Time Span: November 2009 – December 2016.
