Under research project PRC2015003 a chlamydial isolate recovered from a chamois and stored in the biobank of the Italian NRL for Chlamydioses was sequenced using an Illumina MiSeq sequencer with 2x250 pair-end runs. Library preparation was performed using Illumina Nextera XT/Nextera DNA Flex kits.
