YouTube Travel Videos Metadata Index

This dataset contains structured metadata for 2,267 travel-related YouTube videos published by the Samuel & Audrey Media Network. It includes YouTube video identifiers, canonical source URLs, video titles, publication years, regional tags, normalized region fields, creator-defined topic tags, language context where available, view counts captured at export time, metadata snapshot fields, and duplicate/validity flags for video IDs. The dataset is designed as a metadata index for organizing, searching, and connecting public YouTube video records with related transcript datasets, travel archives, article corpora, photography metadata, and destination research. This V1.5 record corresponds to the cleaned public dataset package. It standardizes the dataset around plain-English video metadata index framing, cleaned documentation, structured CSV and JSONL exports, citation metadata, checksums, CC BY-NC 4.0 licensing, and clearer research-facing metadata language. The dataset is intended for travel video metadata analysis, YouTube archive search, creator-media research, tourism communication research, regional coverage analysis, and retrieval workflows across travel videos, transcripts, article corpora, and destination archives. This dataset contains metadata and source references only. It does not contain video files. YouTube titles, view counts, video availability, tags, descriptions, and other platform metadata may change after export. Regional tags and topic tags may be derived or normalized for archive organization and should be reviewed before use in formal research.
