EOS-RS Damage Proxy Maps: Tonga, Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai volcano, 15 Jan 2022

The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Damage Proxy Maps (DPM) covering areas that are likely damaged in Tonga due to the eruption of Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai volcano on 15 Jan 2022. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) and ALOS-2 satellites operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
