Learning Deprivation Severity;PIRLS for grade 4 using MPL Low (400 points) for reading

Learning Deprivation Severity captures the inequality of learning among the learning deprived population and is the gap squared in relation to the minimum proficiency squared. This indicator is calculated based on the data from International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement's (IEA) PIRLS (Progress in International Reading Literacy Study) assessments on the skills in reading at 4th grade, using Minimum proficiency level (MPL) Low (400 points) as the benchmark of basic knowledge.
