Colorado Wildlife Crossings

This map includes all wildlife crossings in the state of Colorado that were designed or retrofit with wildlife connectivity in mind, and the wildlife fencing associated with these crossings. The map does not display wildlife guards or escape ramps that are commonly included with wildlife fencing; nor does it display fenced stretches of roadway without wildlife crossings. Wildlife crossings with wildlife fencing have been shown to reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions by up to 90% or more. This map was created by the Colorado Department of Parks and Wildlife and the Colorado Department of Transportation and coordinated by ECO-resolutions.
