Magnetic order in individual dysprosium microdisks

We will perform magnetic X-ray diffraction in the helical magnetic phase of dysprosium, in microdisks that where etched in a continuous epitaxial film. We already know that arrays of such disks behave similarly as continuous films, but recent measurements suggest heterogeneities between dots. Using a small beam (~30 µm) and large-pitch arrays, we would like to check the magnetic helical order in individual microdisks.
