BioEnergy Atlas Model Outputs - Invasive Alien Plants

Optimised Facility Locations, Transport Routes and Feedstock Catchment Areas, and modelled cost of Loading, Transport, Unloading and Processing for the production of Bioenergy products from Invasive Alien Plant species that have been cleared as a result of the activities of working for water. These datasets were compiled in support of the Invasive Alien Plant species case study published in the second edition of BioEnergy Atlas for South Africa and represents a hypothetical scenario of what may have been feasible if the Working for Water Programme had a biomass beneficiation strategy in place for biomass cleared in KwaZulu-Natal.
