South African National Clinical Trials Register

It contains detailed information including trial objectives, participant eligibility requirements, trial locations, and contact details. Since December 2005, the South African Department of Health has mandated that all new clinical trials carried out in the country must be registered with SANCTR; trials that commenced participant recruitment in July 2005 are also subject to this registration requirement.
