Isolation and characterization of bacteria from fermented bamboo shoot.. Bacillus subtilis

The project describes the genome sequence of a bacterium isolated from fermented bamboo shoot. The bacteria was found to have excellent fermentative attributes, and therefore was optimized for lab scale fermentation process. It is useful to rationalize the fermentative process of bamboo shoots in controlled conditions.
