UzHistQA: Uzbek History Question Answering Dataset

UzHistQA is an evaluation dataset of 56 question-answer pairs for textbook-grounded question answering in Uzbek, built from the Grade 10 textbook "Oʻzbekiston tarixi (1917-1991-yillar)" (Rajabov & Zamonov, 2017). It covers seven question types (factual, definitional, causal, multihop, distractor, numeric and unanswerable); 12 questions (about 21%) are deliberately unanswerable from the textbook, so that a system's ability to abstain can be measured. The textbook text itself is not distributed. The dataset accompanies the article "Evaluating and Mitigating Hallucinations in Retrieval-Augmented Question Answering over Uzbek School Textbooks".
