NRS-1735 | Class Roll Books

These Class Roll books record students' attendance at classes in first, second, third, and fourth term, for specific subjects taught at the Conservatorium of Music. The Rolls include student's name, usually with their address and phone number, amount of fee, amount paid, and office remarks. On the front cover the subject taught is recorded, usually with the name of professor/teacher listed, and sometimes the day of the week and time of day the class was held.The Class Rolls include subjects such as the history of music, theory, harmony, violin, cello, piano, organ clarinet, french horn, double bass, singing, stage deportment, opera, orchestra, and chamber music. Some Class Roll books for orchestra include copies of programs for public performances.The records are very incomplete, with no Class Roll books held for many years, and only for a very limited number of subjects for others.
