In order to better characterize the transcriptome and histone methylation landscape in Aegilops-infecting Z. tritici and Z. ardabiliae, we sequenced RNA-seq (in vitro and in planta) as well as ChIP-seq (in vitro) targeting euchromatin (H3K4me2) and heterochomarin (H3K27me3 and H3K9me3) methylations marks in the Aegilops-infecting Z. tritici Zt469 and Z. ardabiliae Za100.In vitro RNA-seq and ChIP-seq samples represent blastospore cultures of both isolates grown in media (YMS) for 3-4 days at 18 C. RNA-seq in planta represent Aegilops cylindrica leaves inoculated with blastospore suspension of Zt469 and collected at 7dpi, 10dpi, 15dpi and 21dpi.
