Dataset for Pacific-wide seasonal erosion patterns driven by wave climates

This dataset provides a comprehensive analysis of shoreline variability along Pacific sandy coasts over a 25-year period (1993–2018). Using satellite-derived shoreline positions and a categorical classification of wave climates (southerly, easterly, westerly), this dataset quantifies the influence of different wave climates on seasonal erosion and accretion patterns across nearly 10,000 km of coastline. Seasonal shoreline change patterns (DJF, MAM, JJA, SON) for the entire Pacific Basin. Shoreline responses under single and multimodal wave climate conditions. Lag analysis between wave energy (amplitude and phase) and shoreline response, highlighting temporal delays in erosion/accretion.
