Preoperative complete blood counts in resected colorectal cancer in the context of early dissemination to the liver and lungs

This dataset contains preoperative complete blood count (CBC) data from 268 patients who underwent resection for colorectal cancer (CRC) at the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk, Poland (2012–2023). CBCs, performed within 30 days before surgery, include haemoglobin, haematocrit, red blood cells, platelets, and leukocyte subpopulations (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils). All patients had a minimum of 2 years of follow-up to document early metastasis development, with primary interest in liver and lung involvement.
