Digital Mobility Solutions for Environmental Governance: A Unified Approach Using Field Data, Remote Sensing, and GIS

Advances in digital mobility technologies are transforming the way envi-ronmental monitoring and governance systems operate across public in-stitutions, private enterprises, and local communities. This study propos-es an integrated framework that combines mobile field data collection, remote sensing capabilities, and GIS-based spatial analysis to enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and interoperability of environmental infor-mation flows. By examining the operational value of mobility-enabled data acquisition such as sensor-equipped field devices, real-time data transmission, and automated geospatial processing. The study evaluates how these innovations can support evidence-based decision-making, im-prove regulatory transparency, and streamline cross-sector coordination. Findings from mixed-methods analysis indicate that digital mobility so-lutions significantly strengthen environmental governance by increasing monitoring efficiency, reducing data gaps, and enabling scalable ecosys-tem assessments. The study further identifies strategic opportunities for improving system performance, including interoperability standards, platform integration policies, and continuous capacity building for end-users. The proposed unified approach demonstrates the potential for digi-tal mobility solutions to drive more inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable environmental management practices.
