This study deals with the sequence genome of T. xylanilyticus, a Gram positive, thermophilic and lignocellulolytic bacterium. The genome was sequenced by using 74 nucleotides paired ends sequençing and assembled de novo using Velvet 1.1.04.16. The genome size was around 4,1 Mbp and with 61,0 % G+C. The functionnal annotation was performed. The draft genome encodes for 3956 proteins within them enzymes implicated in carbohydrates and complex sugar utilization.
