Agasicles hygrophila Genome sequencing and assembly

Flea beetles belonging to Alticinae (Chrysomelidae, Coleoptera), exhibit a wide species diversity and geographical distribution. Flea beetles are characterized by their adept jumping abilities, attributed to a specialized jumping apparatus that affords them remarkable agility and power. To explore the molecular mechanism behind the jumping behavior of the flea beetles Agasicles hygrophila. we use the micro-CT technique to analyze the morphology and structure of their hind legs. Illumina sequencing, Oxford Nanopore sequencing, PacBio HiFi sequencing, and Hi-C technology were used to obtain high-quality chromosome-level genomes of them.
