Environmental Indicators and Large-Scale Climatic Variability Associated with Malaria Incidence in Southeastern Iran: A 23-Year Negative Binomial Analysis

This repository contains the publicly shareable datasets and analytical scripts supporting the study “Environmental Indicators and Large-Scale Climatic Variability Associated with Malaria Incidence in Southeastern Iran: A 23-Year Negative Binomial Analysis.” The repository includes environmental and climatic datasets, including NDVI, NDWI, LST, ENSO, monsoon-season precipitation, and lagged variables used in the analyses for the period 2001–2023. It also contains R and Google Earth Engine scripts used for data processing, lag selection, statistical modeling, and analysis. Raw malaria surveillance and population data used in the analyses are not included in the public repository because of data-access and data-sharing restrictions. The corresponding data were obtained from official sources as described in the manuscript. The materials provided here are intended to support transparency and reproducibility of the analytical workflow and the results reported in the manuscript.
