Genome sequence of Chrysochromulina parva virus BQ1 (CpV-BQ1) from a Canadian Lake

Cultures containing Chrysochromulina parva virus BQ1 (CpV-BQ1), originally isolated from a Canadian Lake, were sequenced with short Illumina reads and long Nanopore reads. Reads were used in hybrid assembly to construct the CpV-BQ1 genome. Five ~9,000 bp regions of the genome were PCR amplified to verify the assembled genome sequence.
